PLEASE NOTE:

All exhibitors & riders regardless of age must be full financial members of the Mannum Agricultural Society.  No refund of entry Fees.

CDSA points awarded (See p 10)

NO phone entries or late entries accepted. Entries received after this date will NOT be accepted. ONLY written entries with horses nominated and named with membership fees will be accepted. Entries to be made on the Horses in Action entry form. Illegible entry forms will be returned.

CONDITIONS

1.     Stallions are not eligible to compete in hack classes.

2.     All riding competitors must wear approved safety helmets and riding boots.

3.     Horses are not to be lunged on the exercise arena after 8.30 am.

4.     Events will not necessarily be run in the order printed in this catalogue. Classes with insufficient entries will be combined.

5.     There will not be any transferring of entries between classes after submission of entry except in 6 below.

6.     In the case of a horse being measured prior to the show, and a transfer being required, the current height certificate must be in the hands of the convenor by 5pm on the evening before the show.

7.     Any coaching during judging (excepting Lead line Classes) is strictly prohibited.  Judges may disqualify entrants at their discretion.

8.     Protests must be lodged with the Secretary along with $100, within 30 minutes of the contested class completion.

9.     Refunds of entry fees only on receipt of a veterinary certificate naming the horse or a medical certificate for the rider.

10.   Led competitors and mounts are not eligible for horses in action competition.

11.   No unauthorised person/s will be allowed to enter the rings during judging unless granted permission by the conveners.

12.   In the event of any inconsistencies between these rules and EFA or any other association or club, these rules will prevail.

 

RIBBONS & PRIZE MONEY will be distributed after each class.

DEFINITIONS:   INTERMEDIATE Not having won a Royal Placing 1st – 6th

 

N.B. Once a competitor has won a championship in R.1 or R.2 they are ineligible to compete for the championship in the other ring in that class.

The Committee reserves the right to alter this schedule if necessary.

The Australian Driving Society “Safety Guidelines for Driving” are encouraged at our show for the safety of the public and exhibitors.  Special attention is made regarding “never leave a horse harnessed to a vehicle either alone (i.e. without a competent handler) or tied up.”  Competitors must adhere to this request.
